MISSION EMPHASIS

A missions emphasis is included in our Vacation Bible School program.  Our goal is to help children discover the importance of missions and to understand that we can all be involved by praying and supporting special projects.

This year we are supporting several projects that will help families in both South Texas and overseas   projects that will reach families and children with the love and good news of Jesus Christ.

Your child’s offering will be combined with other gifts from our congregation, giving them an active part in sharing their blessings with families and children who are suffering and unable to help themselves.  We invite your family to help with this outreach project by praying for the world’s suffering families and children and, if possible, by sharing your offerings.  There will be an opportunity for giving at each session of VBS.  The contributions will be more meaningful to your child if he or she earns the money him- or herself.  Your child might collect and recycle cans, work in the yard, help with household chores or wash the car.

Let’s work together to bring the message of God’s love to the children of India and around the world!

WHO IS INVITED?

AGE Kids from four years old (but not in diapers, please) to those who have completed fifth grade will have a blast at SonWorld Adventure Park, where fun and faith combine to make memories that last a lifetime!

HEIGHT At this theme park, there's no height requirement, the lines are short and everyone gets a good view of the parade.  But hold onto your hats, because it's sure to be a life-changing ride!

MEDICAL AND DIETARY CONSIDERATIONS Please be sure to tell us of any special considerations we need to make for your child - such as diabetic, lactose or gluten intolerant, asthmatic, or any other medical and/or dietary problems your child may face.  We will do our very best to ensure that your child or children are given the best care possible while they are with us.
