Instructor: Rev. Al Adams
Wednesday evenings, Jan. 13 thru Feb. 3, 2010
Part of our focus on “Back to the
Basics: Unbinding Your Heart for
Christ” will be spending time in the Bible.
As we prepare for our ROCC congregational Sabbath time, we will intentionally link our Bible study and discussion to the process of becoming a stronger, more vibrant disciple of Christ!
Join us as we continue trying on some new words:
experience, explore, and everyday.
Let’s call them the ‘three e’s’.
What would it be like to
experience the Bible texts in your life, right here and now?
How about exploring the stories in
the setting of your everyday world?
Join us for this
four-week class on Wednesday evenings
(Jan13 through Feb 3) as we
experience Scripture in this unique way through the
Exploring Matthew:
Everyday Stories, Book Two guide.
We’ll
share a simple meal (soup, sandwich, and ice cream) as we learn and share together.
Dinner begins at 6PM, and
we’ll start the class around 6:30 as we finish our meal relaxing and
sharing. Feel free to bring your
own food if you’d rather. Class
will end at 8PM. Cost for the
meal is $5 each or $15 maximum per family.
Book cost is $10, and financial help is available.
