Rev. Al AdamsSenior Pastor Al Adams was born in Toronto, Canada and grew up all over this country and in many places worldwide. She has been involved in, and has led interfaith and ecumenical mission efforts for many years. Al and her husband (also Al) have a blended family of six grown children. Rev. Al has a Bachelors degree in Education and a Masters degree in Counseling from the University of Missouri, and a Masters of Divinity Degree from Eden Theological Seminary in Webster Groves, MO. Rev. Al was ordained in the Mid-America region. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree from Brite Divinity School (Texas Christian University). Rev. Fred LautenAssociate Pastor Air Force veteran retired in San Antonio. Fred has a bachelor’s degree focused on business administration, an MBA/A (focus on Aviation Management), and a Master of Divinity (MDiv) from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary. Fred has pastored three United Methodist Churches before joining ROCC. He was ordained by ROCC on Novemebr 1, 2009. Fred is assisting various members and committees of Rolling Oaks Christian Church as they seek to use every means available to “proclaim the Good News to all creation.” (Mark 16:15 CJB)

Pastor Lin Alyn DuncanMinister to Children Pastor Lin Alyn Duncan is a licensed minister serving the children and families with children at Rolling Oaks Christian Church. Lin Alyn had a twenty-seven year career as a teacher in the elementary classroom. In her present ministry she brings together two of her greatest passions, her love of children and her love of Scripture. Under her guidance, the children’s program at ROCC is a balanced one that addresses our children’s needs for sound worship, fellowship, outreach, and education experiences.

Pastor Emily WycpalekMinister to Youth & Young Adults Pastor Emily Wycpalek is a licensed minister serving the Youth and Young Adults at Rolling Oaks Christian Church (ROCC). She works with the Youth & Young Adults to create the Blend, ROCC’s Alternative Worship that meets on the first Saturday of the month. She creates and develops fellowship opportunities that allows youth & young adults to live and exercise their love of Jesus Christ. She exudes and enthusiasm for worship and service that is contagious; it extends through our church to our community and beyond. She works part-time at Nationwide Insurance & is a Girl Scout troop leader. Her most important job is being mom to her two daughters, Jamie & Sydney. She received her Associates in Interdisciplinary Studies from Del Mar College. She is currently training to be a Stephen Minister.

Chaplain Cheri TummelsonChaplain to the Homebound and Hospitalized Cheri is a seminarian at Brite Divinity School (Ft. Worth), as well as a highly experienced registered nurse who feels a calling to chaplain ministry (perhaps hospice chaplaincy). She served last year as a seminary intern with Inman Center and continues to serve as a member of Inman’s Board of Directors. Please hold her in prayer, especially this semester as she is enrolled in four seminary courses.

Kathy MayerMusic Director Ms. Mayer grew up in San Antonio. She received her Bachelor of Music in vocal performance and a Masters of Music in choral conducting from UTSA. Kathy is also a performing member of the San Antonio Vocal Arts Ensemble (SAVAE).

Pablo AguilarMusician A native of Mexico, Pablo often invites his family and/or students of his to join us with a variety of instrumentation. In addition, Pablo is a piano teacher with the Musical Arts Center of San Antonio.
